In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our delivery partners (vendors) and internal teams to deliver projects to meet our customers' business needs.

You will ensure documentation and finances are accurately updated and maintained from the initiation of our projects to close out. Your analytical skills and interest in project finance will allow you to guide our delivery partners in following CDW's standards in budget and labour management. With guidance from management, you will organize our vendor project portfolio and create well-crafted reports that provide key insights into projects performance.

At times, you may assist senior project managers on medium and large complexity projects or take on other administrative and coordination tasks as required.

As a Project Coordinator Intern at CDW, you will partner with some of the most dynamic, strategic, and talented professionals in IT. Your ability to build strong relationships with our customers, internal SMEs, sales, vendors, and other members of cross-functional teams is your key asset in today's IT world.

**What you'll do**
- Validate initial records in financial systems with project scope and estimations
- Be responsible for project financials throughout the project lifecycle
- Input changes to project financials in our PSA (Professional Services Automation) Software
- Establish, monitor, adjust, and communicate tasks and associated schedule to project team
- Ensure project is completed as per customer requirements
- Assist project managers with managerial/administrative work as required

**What we're looking for**:

- Students or New Grads with the graduation date of 2023-2024 enrolled in Business or Computer related field
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities/projects, meet deadlines, facilitate change, and delegate responsibilities
- Self-motivated and results-driven individual who will make an impact while utilizing strong written and verbal skills to communicate effectively
- Team oriented and able to develop positive relationships with coworkers and other partners involved
- Strong presentation skills, including ability to develop and deliver presentations
- Microsoft Office skills including, but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word
- Availability to work a 40-hour week within standard business hours throughout the summer
- Authorization to work in Canada; without sponsorship as a full-time coworker

**Nice-to-have**
- Relevant experience working at VARs (Value Added Resellers)
- Entry level Industry standard project management certification and/or IT certifications
- Working knowledge of FinancialForce
- Understanding of procurement and accounting process
- Working knowledge of MSFT Project, MSFT Office, SharePoint, Salesforce, FinancialForce
- Solid understanding of arithmetic and some understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
