We have an opportunity for a Supply Chain Project Lead.

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Act as the Supply Chain representative and voice at a variety of cross functional meetings, engage Supply Chain team members in decision making as required.
- Support the planning and execution of the overall supply chain strategy.
- Develop business relevant metrics, reporting, and analytics strategies to contribute to recommendations on supply planning optimization.
- Prepare models to support the annual budgeting process, aid in new process design, or improve upon existing models and tools.
- Proactively identify key risks to future supply chain needs and propose and drive the necessary changes to address them.
- Develop and drive operational excellence / continuous improvement.
- Create compelling, data driven presentations to showcase identified opportunities and gain alignment from senior level management on a path forward.
- Maintain the departmental dashboard, gain insights from the data, perform gap analyses, deep dive chronic issues, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Remain current with changes and advancements in data, analytics, and continuous improvement methodologies as they pertain to Novocol Supply Chain and recommend their introduction where appropriate.
- Take ownership of complex and/or unconventional queries from the business and provide policy interpretations, technical advice and recommendations as assigned or as appropriate.
- Comply with all GMPs, SOPs and company policies.
- Perform other related duties as required.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**
- University degree in a related field, including commerce, business administration, supply chain or engineering.

**Experience**
- ** **Minimum 5 years of direct work experience in procurement and supply chain management roles in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 2 years' experience leading supply chain or continuous improvement projects or initiatives.
- Experience in a Pharmaceutical, Beverage, Consumer Product or Food Packaging Environment is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated success in improving organizational performance through data management leadership, advanced analytics implementation, business intelligence and/or business insights technology.
- Experience supporting internal manufacturing operations.
- Direct working knowledge of operations, negotiations, inventory control, and sales & operations planning.
- APICS certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
- Advanced MS Excel skills as well as experience with other Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint and Power BI.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication and presentation skills.
- Resiliency and the ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
