Painter/labourer

**SUB CONTRACTOR: Painter/Laborer/Handyman**

CARGO CABBIE Inc. is a family owned and operated Moving Company located in Etobicoke, ON. We are looking for a **Subcontractor Painter/Laborer/Handyman with their own corporation **to join our team. We're looking for someone who has a broad knowledge and skillset in labor and repairs of all kinds to assist within our warehouse. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Drywall repairs
- Painting (interior and exterior)
- Flooring repairs
- Minor electrical (changing switches, ballasts, etc.)
- Installing fixtures (doors, lights, etc)
- Furniture repair
- Carpentry

**Required Knowledge and Experience**:

- 5+ years industry related experience is an asset
- Valid G or G2 driver’s license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding and demonstration of customer service principles
- Ability to work safely and efficiently within a team environment or independently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Willing to work evening, on call and weekends as determined by Management
- Periodic travel may be required (compensation available)

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift up to 70lbs (Repetitive and Consistent)
- Working at heights (over 5 feet)
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend and kneel for sustained periods

**Job Types**: Full-time, Freelance

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Etobicoke, ON M8W 2W8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- painting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- G Class Driving Licence (preferred)
