**Duties and Responsibilities**:Include: leading small groups, facilitating youth ministry events, serving as a positive role model, and other related duties as assigned. Other responsibilities may include: planning and implementing youth ministry events; leading small groups; engaging in worship services; sharing the Gospel through discipleship; leading small groups; preaching sermons; assisting with youth development; assisting in the development of curriculum & activities; helping to create and implement youth development plans; assisting in the development of youth ministries.

- Ability to lead a group of people effectively in worship services.
- Ability to influence others through preaching and teaching.
- Must be able to work well with others. Must be able to work well with parents and have a heart for kids. Must be able to work with other ministries as well. Must have strong communication skills. Must have a love for kids. Must love Jesus Christ and want to serve kids in some way every day. Must be able to work well on your own time so you can lead your own life as you see fit.

**Education**:A theological degree from an accredited seminary. A ministry-related degree is desirable.

**Experience Required**: 1.Strong evidence of prayer life and vital relationship with Christ; 2. Minimum 3 years of experience with mentorship, leadership development, spiritual coaching and/or youth ministry; 3. Attuned to current teen culture and the challenges they face
