We are looking for a **mechanical engineer or electrical engineer who is hands on.**

The maintenance manager will lead a team of 8 direct reports.

**This job is 40 hours at the plant in Hamilton. Monday to Friday**

**PRIMARY ROLE**:
**The main object and purpose of the position is to manage the maintenance process at the Hamilton Air Seperation Unit to ensure a consistent and rigorous maintenance system that aligns with Group and Industry Best Practices. The incumbent is also responsible for coaching and development of maintenance staff in related activities, while promoting ALC’s safety and quality objectives.**

**KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- 1. Establishes Maintenance Requirements Based upon industry and Air Liquide Group “Best Practices”,.
- 2. Analyzes and improves on asset reliability Reviews and analyzes equipment reliability.
- 3. Promotion of safety and environmental compliance
- 4. Ensures coaching and development of maintenance team.
- 5. Turnaround maintenance budgeting: Assists the plant manager and maintenance supervisor with the preparations of turnaround scope and budgets.
- 6. Asset management: Tracks and improves performance indicators associated with work management.

**TRAINING & KNOWLEDGE**
- Diploma : Bachelor’s degree in engineering mechanical or electrical.
- Training : ASU, hydrogen processes and equipment Asset
- Knowledge : good knowledge of maintenance processes, labor, occupational health and safety laws and regulations, business sense, oral and written communication skills

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT**

**3-5 years of maintenance management experience in a continuous operation environment, preferably in the chemical or petrochemical industry.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$103,000.00 per year
