**Job Description**:
Perform surveys on board sea going vessels, i.e., full inspection of ships’ hold for suitability with respect to cleanliness, Draft Surveys, On/Off-hire surveys, Bunker Surveys, Damage Inspections
- Ship’s draft survey
- Barge draft survey
- Ship’s on/off hire survey
- Pre-purchase survey on ocean going vessels
- Bunker surveys
- Ships hold cleaning consultant
- Inspection of any ship’s compartments
- Supervision of load and stowing of cargos
- Loading and lashing of deck cargos
- Grain stability survey
- Dead freight survey
- Draft limitation calculations
- Stevedore damage survey
- Dock damage survey
- Vessel damage survey
- P & I survey
- Owner’s, Shipper’s Charter’s representative at loading/discharge
- Inspection of refrigerated compartments
- General cargo damage survey
- Marine consultant for Agents, Shippers or Terminals
- Any other related duties as required as assigned by the Company
**Qualifications**:
- Capable of operating without being under close supervision
- Superior organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
- Extended hours and shift work are required.

- Ability to work well with others & independently.
- Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Works well under pressure.
- Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time.

Additional Information
**Salary**:$38 per hour
**Schedule**:
- On call, up to 30 hours per week
