Irrigation Labourer - Job Description

Ø Responsible for assisting either the install crew or any of the service men, this can change from day to day.

Ø Assist crew or serviceman with stocking the truck(s) daily with appropriate parts as well as maintaining the truck in a clean and organized fashion.

Ø Dig trenches as directed by Foreman to ensure proper installation of piping, wire, sprinklers and other materials.

Ø Backfill and clean up trenches and work area at the end of each day, or as directed by the Foreman.

Ø Assemble and install parts, as directed by the Foreman.

Irrigation Labourer - Requirements

Ø Experience with digging and working outside in physically demanding situations is an asset.

Ø Valid Driver’s license - must be able to provide driving abstract, if requested.

Ø Professional and friendly attitude and ability to work will in team settings is a must.

Ø Hours of operation are 7am to 5pm (Mon-Fri), earlier or later if required. Half day Saturdays are available (May-July).

Ø Must report to the shop every morning (see address below) for 6:45am.

This position is intended as an entry level to the company, we will provide training to ensure you develop your knowledge and allow you to move into roles with more responsibility.

Compensation is based on experience. Reference must be available upon request.

**Salary**: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
