**Job Overview**

Key Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to company standards.

Manage inventory processes, including receiving and organizing incoming stock, ensuring accurate product labeling, and inputting data into the Point of Sale (POS) system.

Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets while cultivating a positive and productive work environment.

Deliver outstanding customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Support recruitment efforts by actively participating in the hiring process and onboarding new staff members.

Accurately handle cash transactions and ensure strict adherence to company cash handling procedures.

Monitor sales performance and assist in providing strategic insights for budgeting and planning.

Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for customers.

Collaborate with the Store Manager on visual merchandising strategies and promotional activities.

Lead by example, fostering a motivated and cohesive team atmosphere.

Demonstrate a proactive approach to addressing operational needs and ensuring high-quality service standards are consistently met.

**Qualifications**:
A minimum of 5 years of retail experience is preferred, with prior experience in retail management or supervisory roles.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

Familiarity with retail sales techniques and cash handling procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.

A proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Experience in a garden center or pet food industry is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
