Nohkohwaa Family & Youth Centre is a non-profit organization that provides short-term support services to adults with intellectual disabilities in the Fort Macleod, AB area. We are looking for a passionate and compassionate individual who can provide the highest quality of care and service to our clients.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with case management, medical records, medication management, personal care, and other tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate client records (births, deaths, medical appointments, etc.)
- Document all activities performed for each client during the day
- Work closely with the client’s family and caregivers to ensure that services are continued as needed by the client’s family or as directed by the client’s doctor or care team
- Communicate regularly with staff and clients about their health and progress
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment for clients at all times
- Report any changes in client condition or family situation to supervisor or director as needed
- Participate in team meetings as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or director

**Education & Experience**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Casual
Part-time hours: 48 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Fort Macleod, AB T0L 0C4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Master's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- supportive care: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's License (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)
