General Carpenter

**Overview**
**Duties**
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Perform concrete forming for foundations and other structural components.
- Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged elements.
- Work with masonry materials for building walls, walkways, and other features.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
- Fabricate custom pieces based on project requirements.
- Install siding and other exterior finishes to enhance the durability and appearance of buildings.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques including concrete forming, masonry work, and installation processes.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods, lifting heavy materials, and working in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license may be required based on job site locations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
