**Overview**

**Duties**
- Select and play music that aligns with the event theme, audience and dancer preferences.
- Operate DJ equipment including mixers, sound and light systems.
- Create seamless transitions between songs to maintain a lively atmosphere.
- Engage with the audience through announcements, interactions, and requests.
- Maintain an organized library of music tracks and playlists.
- Stay updated on current music trends and popular tracks to keep the playlist fresh.

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a DJ is required.
- Familiarity with various music genres and the ability to adapt to different audiences.
- Proficiency in using DJ software and equipment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage an audience effectively.
- Creative mindset with a flair for mixing tracks and creating unique soundscapes.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.80 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 12 per week
