Due to growing projects within the Purchasing North America team, an opportunity has been created at the Bridgewater facility for a new colleague who will take up the challenge and grow with us

**Responsibilities include**:

- build and generate purchase orders;
- prepare contracts for execution;
- handle change orders;
- actively participate in project team meetings;
- support project team, project engineers, and internal partners;
- negotiate final pricing and contracts;
- ensure management of supplier performance (budget, schedule);
- liaison with capital buyers as needed;
- gather information on new suppliers as needed;
- communicate information clearly and concisely to both internal and external partners, ensuring confidentiality;
- assist with projects, support knowledge sharing and exchange and standard processes with team members; and,
- find opportunities for process and/or spending efficiency improvements to reduce costs.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or completion of a diploma program in business or a related field;
- experience in a purchasing or related role;
- proficient in Microsoft Office, _particularly Excel_; and,
- experience with Oracle is an asset but not required.
