Tek Systems Group Inc. is an amazing, team based, multi-systems integrator working in the fields of Security (Alarms, Cameras, Access Control) as well as Intercoms/Telephone entry, Automated Door Operators, Home Automation, Audio/Video, Networking and Communications, Nurse Call and other low voltage industries.
- The Position will be responsible for roughing in and installing a wide variety of low voltage equipment including but not limited to Security Alarm, CCTV, Card Access, phone, cable and network wiring in new construction from high rise condo to small home residential.
- Additional responsibilities will include but limited to installation and adding on of equipment to existing systems and customers, assisting other technicians on jobs.
- Experience wiring, installing, testing and commissioning Security alarm, Security Camera and Card Access Systems is required
- Ability to program and troubleshoot systems is a strong asset
- Experience with Central Vac would be beneficial
- Training will be provided, but some construction or electrical experience a definite asset.
- Great communication skills and ability to work well with customers, co-workers and other trades and contractors on site
- Must be able to work with a variety of people of all skill levels.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working from ladders and at heights
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Must Have a Current Ontario Driver’s License with clean Driver Abstract
- Vehicle, Gas card, Cell phone, & some tools provided, you will require your own basic hand tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- alarm technician: 1 year (preferred)
- Alarm System & Access Control Technicians: 1 year (preferred)
