As a central agency, the French Language Services Directorate (FLSD) supports, collaborates with and empowers the Government of Yukon departments and other public bodies to serve and inform the public in French. We foster strong partnerships with departments and stakeholders to improve access to government services in French. We aim at building bilingual capacities across government by providing client-focused services such as translation, training, advice, and operational support.

- Post-secondary training in education, French, linguistics, or related field.
- Considerable, recent experience teaching French as a first or second language.
- Experience with adult education, workplace training or online teaching would be considered an asset.
- Experience performing language evaluations would be considered an asset.

**Qui sommes-nous?**

La Direction des services en français offre des services centralisés pour appuyer les ministères et autres organismes publics du gouvernement du Yukon; elle collabore avec eux et cherche à leur donner les moyens de servir et d’informer le public en français. Dans le souci d’améliorer l’accès aux services gouvernementaux en français, la Direction entretient des partenariats solides avec les ministères et les différents acteurs, à qui elle offre des services de traduction, de formation, d’accompagnement et de soutien.

**Poste à pourvoir**

Notre équipe est à la recherche d’une personne dynamique, polyvalente et motivée pour concevoir des cours de français et les offrir aux fonctionnaires du gouvernement du Yukon, à tous les niveaux. La personne titulaire du poste offre un soutien linguistique individuel, des ateliers personnalisés, des cours en groupe et des activités d’apprentissage en milieu de travail, en salle de classe, en ligne et en milieu d’apprentissage mixte. Il ou elle contribue aussi à la révision et à l’amélioration continue du matériel pédagogique et du contenu du programme afin de mieux répondre aux besoins linguistiques du personnel en contact avec le public. Enfin, il ou elle prépare et effectue des évaluations des compétences linguistiques pour les postes désignés bilingues du gouvernement du Yukon.
