**Description**:
As a Maintenance Worker II, you may perform routine preventative and demand maintenance activities within the exterior and interior of the building. Under general supervision, you may perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance and repair work on facility architectural, structural and mechanical systems/components to ensure safety and efficient operation of the building systems and equipment. You may perform a wide range of general maintenance duties including maintenance and repair of drywall, floors and painting. Additional duties may include minor plumbing repair; minor repairs on equipment; checks on equipment for pressure and temperature; and disassembly of equipment for cleaning.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent. Possession of a valid driver's licence. Power Engineer 5th Class Certificate required where boiler support is necessary.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Class 5 or higher Drivers License, Mechanical Aptitude, Positive Attitude, Attention to Detail, Pride in your Work.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
HVAC specific training and/or experience with. Ability to read and interpret building drawings and schematics (e.g. architectural, mechanical, electrical, controls, structural, civil, etc.). Experience in operations and maintenance in a health care related facility is desired.
