**Responsibilities**:

Vancouver
**REMOTE**: This is a partly remote role as the hiring team will require the student to work virtually (British Columbia) throughout to April 2023.
**ONSITE**: The hiring team will require the student to work in the Vancouver office starting Q2 2023 throughout the entire duration of the co-op work term. COVID-19 protocols are being strictly followed

**The Role**
- This is an exciting opportunity to work on emulation flows on protocol standards and AMD proprietary IP blocks environment.
**What you’ll be doing**
- Design scalable emulation test benches, build flows and tools to streamline project execution
- Ensure test bench and code scale for multiple emulation platforms and technologies
- Build re-usable components and infrastructure that can be re-used for DV and emulation work
- Collaborate with IP DV and design teams on test planning and task execution
- Work on various emulation methodologies such as: Transactors, SimAcceleration, Hybrid VMs
- Write portable tests and stimulus generation
- Execute verification of the latest features and protocols
**What you’ll learn**
- To work with cross functional teams
- To master new tools (Design, Verification, FW)
- To work pre-silicon environments
- To design scalable emulation test benches, build flows and tools to streamline project execution
- To execute pre-silicon validation test plans and conduct reviews with cross functional teams (Architects, designers, FW )
**Requirements**:
- C/C++, SystemVerilog
- Experience working with Verilog based designs
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of scripting/preprocessing with: Python, Perl
- Experience working with emulation
- Understand industry standard: PCIe, CXL, DDR
- Understand AMBA protocol
