System Administrator

**Position Summary**:
We are currently seeking a System Administrator with 5 or more years’ experience managing Enterprise on-premises environments and cloud infrastructure. Broad responsibilities will include working with the various teams from Infrastructure, Product, Development and Architecture to facilitate the design, development and maintenance of our on-premises private cloud and Azure cloud environment.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Delivering proactive and reactive technical expertise with a hands-on approach, addressing issues and improvements for our 24x7 Canadian Health Care operation alongside the other members of the service delivery team.
- Continuous service improvements of our automation repository used in managing our on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
- Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring.
- Monitor datacenter health using existing management tools and respond to issues as they arise; help build, test, deploy and maintain QHRs infrastructure stack as needed.
- Interact with Customer Service and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.

**Qualifications, Education and Experience Requirements**:
**Required Skills**:
- Relevant IT/Computer Science degree or diploma, or equivalent experience required.
- 5 or more years managing Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory and GPO.
- 5 or more years working in an Enterprise infrastructure.
- 5 or more years of PowerShell development and automation. Experience with other scripting languages will be considered an asset.
- Strong experience in implementing and managing Security best practices.
- Strong ability to design, implement and improve Infrastructure automation using PowerShell.
Additional skills
- Experience in automating system administration and reporting and capacity management.
- Experience with troubleshooting tools such as Splunk, SysInternals (ProcMon, ProcEx, ).
- Strong experience in implementing and managing using Security best practices.
- Experience or understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts and principles.
- Experience in Cloud Computing (specifically Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS).
- Excellent documentation and communication using ITIL or other industry standards.
- Relevant IT/Computer Science degree or diploma, or equivalent experience required.
**Compensation and Logistics**:
- Base salary, variable bonus established at the corporate level, competitive benefits package.
- Hiring Range: $70,000 - $95,000 annual
- Full-time, Permanent
- Minimal to no travel required.
