The Heavy Duty Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating a variety of equipment in a safe, efficient and effective manner. Equipment operated includes Excavator, Front End Loader, and Skid Steer Scrap Metal Handler.

**Hours of Work**:

- Continental shift 7:00PM - 7:00AM
- 7 scheduled shifts every 14 days
- Training will be compelted on Day Shift: 7AM to 7PM
- Every other weekend

**What’s Expected**:

- Operate a variety of heavy equipment including Excavator, Scrap Handler, Front End Loader
- Operate various attachments as assigned (e.g. Grapple, Magnet etc.);
- Load scrap metal as assigned;
- Sort, stack, process materials as directed;
- Clean, lubricate, check and replenish fluids as directed;
- Complete pre-operational equipment check and other documentation as assigned;
- Operate two-way radio or other communication devices as required;
- Maintain a safe and orderly working environment;
- Other general duties as assigned by Manager.

**You have**:

- Must exhibit Triple M Metal LP's Core Values of Respect, Excellence, Integrity, Team and Pride;
- Previous experience operating Excavator, Front End Loader, Rock Truck;
- Heavy Equipment Operators Certification preferred;
- Must have a valid Driver’s License;
- Strong communication both written and verbal;
- OSSD or equivalent is preferred but not required.
