The company’s short-term priorities include building up out of engineering team, putting into place production facilities, and creating a north American subsidiary in Canada.

**About the role**

This role based in our Canadian entity and will report to **Head of Business Operations **based in Switzerland.

The QM is responsible to establish and maintain an independent quality management system to ensure compliance of H55 Production Organisation with Part 21 Subpart G requirements. The QM will lead, direct, and control the planning, implementation, and optimisation of the quality organisation within the site, to achieve the quality strategy of H55 Canada. Additionally, the QM will ensure compliance of myH55, as part of the global business management system.

You will be leading the H55 Quality Organisation, with the following core activities:

- Quality Manager for the Production Organisation (EASA Part 21 Subpart G).
- Internal audits to verify the implemented Production & Business Processes.
- Supplier monitoring by means of performance surveying and external audits.
- Survey and coordinate corrective actions from Authority, Customer or Certifying Body audits.
- Point of contact for Regulatory Authority.
- Form 4 Holder.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Implement and achieve certification to AS9100, with maintenance activities thereafter,
- Primary quality resource to production for product conformity requirements and escalation,
- Design and implement a lean H55 quality system and culture (vision and targets, standards and procedures, quality improvement plan, audits, etc.),
- Integration of the QMS with other management systems such as safety management system, health & safety, information security, environmental etc as applicable,
- Foster the internal reporting culture; process incoming reports according to the regulations and implement and enforce the corrective actions,
- Responsible for initiation, investigation, resolution, and management to closure of quality alerts, root cause activities and corrective actions with those responsible,
- Represent customers interests inside H55; communicate, alert and escalate all risks and issues to H55 leadership,
- Be accountable for all project related quality deliverables, in order to ensure the conformity of products, processes and equipment during development,
- Monitor the conformity of products processes and equipment in production; implement a QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) and Lessons Learned process,
- Ensure the supplier selection process considers quality performance appropriately; monitor that suppliers respect overall quality standards and that they have all necessary data and information from H55 in order to perform; make sure their quality concerns and improvement proposals are managed timely and properly by H55.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in quality, engineering or manufacturing required
- 7+ years of experience in the management of production and quality organisations
- Demonstrated experience in EASA regulations (POA approved organizations), experience with FAA and Transport Canada is a strong advantage.
- Experience of working with ISO 9001, AS9100 and AS9145
- Previous holder of EASA Form-4 is an advantage
- 3+ years of experience in risk-based audit planning
- Experience in leading regulatory audits
- Six Sigma Certification, ASQ Certified (or equivalent) Quality Manager
- Comfortable in dealing with customers, suppliers and contractors from a global supply chain
- Success in driving operational excellence in quality
