Headquartered in Ottawa, Terra Nova Solutions Rewired specializes in after-market support of analog, digital, power, and RG systems. Our exceptionally talented team assists our customers in extending the life of their critical electronic infrastructure or bridging to a new system.

We are currently looking for a Cable Supervisor for our Ottawa facility.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Manage and Provide Leadership**:

- Manage and provide leadership; including communication, training, coaching, timely performance feedback, recruitment, and employee development.
- **Accomplish Production Plan**- Work closely with planning and scheduling to monitor and assure the accomplishment of the cable production schedule. Ensure process and procedures are followed accordingly.
- **Productivity, Efficiency and Continuous Improvement** - Actively seek and recommend ways to improve products, equipment, tooling and process flows to increase overall quality, productivity, capacity, lead times and gross margins. Work closely with Engineering department on NPI requirements. Implement and improve new process capabilities. Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
- **KPI and Reporting** - Will be accountable for producing KPI and applicable reports to the group on a weekly / monthly basis, as required.
- **Department support** - Interface with various company departments to resolve process issues.
- **Train Personnel** - Manage training and cross training of all cable assemblers.
- **Manufacturing **- The role will require the incumbent to actively participate in the manufacturing process of the cable assemblies as required.

**Education & Experience**:

- Minimum five years of Cable Manufacturing Supervision/Management experience
- Background as an experienced Cable Assembler
- Previous IPC 620 certification

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Ability to read and comprehend cable drawings and schematics
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, time management and documentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and must be organized
- Health and Safety conscious
