Plumbing Apprentice

Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout of plumbing systems
- Fabricate and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications
- Weld or solder joints to ensure a secure and watertight connection
- Use hand tools, such as wrenches, pipe cutters, and threaders, to assemble and install pipes
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a plumber or pipefitter
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics
- Welding skills for joining pipes and fittings
- Knowledge of various hand tools used in plumbing installations
- Ability to accurately measure using calipers or other measuring tools
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems and components
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members and clients

**Salary**: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- plumbing/pipefitting: 1 year (preferred)
