Claims Advocate

We represent several of Canada's leading insurers and currently have an expanding career opportunity for someone that wants to develop and build a claims team within our brokerage.

- Build and Develop Claims process within our brokeraage
- Advocate for our clients when a claim does not go as expected
- Actively work with clients, adjusters, carriers, and to get resolutions for the client using problem solving, influencing and conflict resolution skills
- Answer inquiries, and provide assistance and education on the claims lifecycle and progress to clients
- Review claims utilizing the appropriate internal processes and procedures
- Ask pertinent questions and connect with the carrier in the course of advocating for our clients
- Follow up with client to determine if claim is being handled effectively and to their satisfaction
- Log and track information appropriately in the Broker Management System and in the advocacy teams tracker

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dartmouth, NS B3B 2C4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
