**Description**

Representing Strategic Way Consulting, this assignment is at our Client location situated on the Lake Huron shoreline between the towns of Kincardine and Saugeen Shores. We are looking for a detail-oriented, methodical, technically inclined and collaborative Jr. Technical Advisor to join our growing team of driven professionals. Working in a dynamic and fast pace environment this individual will be required to be responsive, take initiative, manage multiple priorities and work with mínimal direction. This individual will be responsible to provide support the Client’s Outage Control Center during an upcoming series of outages on a rotating day/night shift.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Minimum 3-5 years in a similar role
- Working knowledge in scheduling and costing PMIS (Program Management Information Systems) software including P6, VISIO and MS Office (Excel, Access, Project, Word, etc.)
- Understanding of core project control concepts (WBS, CPM based scheduling, Earned Value Progress Measurement), PMBOK/PMI principles
- Must be well organized and possess strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Experience and understanding in the area nuclear work management, maintenance and project planning/scheduling is considered an asset
- Nuclear experience is considered an asset
- Site Security Clearance at Bruce power is considered an asset
- Understanding of Maximo ERP software considered an asset

**Responsibilities**
- Provide Outage Specialist support in the Outage Control Centre during an upcoming series of scheduled outages
- Participate in numerous outage update meetings and ensure updates are received from responsible stakeholders to accurately update project reporting and metrics documents
- Ensure Gantt charts are updated regularly with accurate and up-to-date data
- Perform shift turnover and present critical path and near critical path work status updates to incoming crews
- Act as secretary during meetings ensuring verification of task updates against P6, Maximo work orders, CLs etc.
- Responsible to obtain updates on tasks from Operations and Maintenance groups
- Accountable for identification and selection of crews for recognition who are doing an exemplary job displaying Bruce Power Behaviors; Develops and distributes Outage Poster.
- Responsible for collection of information for station PCR report from various sources including; P6, Reactor Safety Report, Maximo etc.
- Creation of schedule Layouts in P6 for different OCC members, e.g. Major Engineering tasks, Remaining CLs in the outage, etc.
- Creation of ad hoc reports in VISIO and excel for OCC Members
- Builds and maintains Critical Path VISIO with all pertinent information for detailed turnover which is displayed to the larger organization
- Prepare complete and comprehensive end of shift reports, including updating schedule portion of the DOM LOG reporting on completed Critical path and near critical path items and forecasting the Critical path and near critical path work for the next shift.
- Forms the agenda for daily risk identification meeting
- Perform other duties as required.

**Education**
- Degree or diploma in the area of Engineering, Technical Discipline, Project Planning, Scheduling/Coordination or similar
- P6 Primavera Certification considered an asset
