A Technical Sales Representative role (what we internally call a 'Brand Technical Specialist') means a career where you're leading prospective clients towards the era of hybrid cloud and AI - helping our clients transform their business. **Your Role and Responsibilities**
A 'Day-in-the Life' of a Brand Technical Specialist may include, but not be limited to:
Developing approaches for clients to grow their businesses by solving strategic and tactical business problems with IBM’s proven technology solutions.
Defining and detailing feasible IBM solutions that complement and enhance clients’ existing tech stacks.
Delivering proof of concepts and simplifying difficult, technical topics into understandable client education.
Consultatively building credibility and trust at all levels to close highly complex technology deals.
Motivated to achieve sales, business objectives and high client satisfaction.

Aptitude to utilize selling technologies to network, engage clients, and identify new business opportunities.
You may work with any of the following technologies: Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Cloud, Sustainability, Security, or Systems Hardware.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, M.I.S., or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering.
- Experience translating business requirements into technology solutions.
- Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated team collaboration and leadership.
- Readiness to travel up to 20% annually.
- Must be able to travel to the U.S
- 1-2 years of professional work experience
- Must be fluent in French
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- At least 1 year experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering concepts.
- Programming coursework or experience a plus.
- Prior work experience in client sales or service.
- Experience includes all settings, such as coursework, informal or side projects, internships and work experience, leading to a result or achievement.
