**Who we are**

EPIC Market is Edmonton’s newest gathering place located in Station Park, a brand new shipping container park development on Whyte Ave. Opening July 2024, our food hall spans 2 floors, features 5 distinct culinary concepts - Italian, French Canadian, Mexican, Asian-Fusion, and a Chop House - 2 bars and a Chef’s Table. We aim to be the place people gather to eat and drink the way they want to. To fulfil our goal we are building an all-star team of hospitality professionals to serve our guests, host numerous events, and create a community.

Our team built the first food hall in Alberta and we’re so excited to launch our flagship location in the heart of Whyte Ave. Jennifer and Luke started EPIC Market to bring a true food hall experience to Edmonton. **Who we are looking for**

We believe EPIC Market is the perfect fit if you’re looking to grow your career in hospitality We are looking for part-time and full-time dishwashers to join our team for our grand opening in July.

As a dishwasher, you’ll help keep our facility clean and tidy and our chef’s cooking on clean wares and customers eating on clean dishes During downtime, you’ll also be asked to clean tables, take out trash, and other duties as required.

If you are a team player who communicates effectively with others, can take initiative and work with mínimal supervision, and are able to multitask and maintain high service levels under pressure, we want to hear from you It’d be great if you had previous dishwashing, cleaning or kitchen experience but it's not required. The role requires regular standing and walking for the duration of your shift and the ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 50 lbs.

**What you’ll get to do**:

- Retrieve dirty cookware and dishes from each kitchen and dining areas.
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and/or pans using dishwasher or by hand.
- Work closely with each kitchen to ensure cookware is available and ready for use.
- Correct storage of clean dishes (including placing clean pots, pans, utensils back in the correct kitchen).
- Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, dish carts and dish racks.
- Bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces.
- General cleaning of floors, walls, tables, etc. in kitchen and dining areas
- Garbage removal (including correct disposal of cardboard and waste)
- May assist in receiving and stocking supplies/products
- Safely handle and store cleaning products
- Perform cleaning duties according to established procedures
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and clean work environment at all times
- Perform other related duties as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
