**What You’ll Do**

We are looking for someone willing to take intelligent risks, champion new ideas, and continually elevate the quality of our work. You will be a player-coach with the opportunity to educate and mentor junior and mid-level designers and communicate user experience methodologies across the organization as applicable to ensure design priorities are conveyed effectively. You enjoy staying abreast of current and emerging trends in both UX topics and the challenges of our customers' industries and use cases.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Maximizing the value of the user experience for our customers
- Connecting with, identifying the problems of and understanding our customers’ needs
- Support development as the go-to person for product design requirements and customer needs
- Work closely with product managers to create overall product vision and roadmap
- Ensure projects are completed according to established specifications and are properly documented throughout the project life cycle
- Develop and report on design KPIs for tracking relevant business outcomes
- Lead discussions and reviews of product design deliverables with stakeholders
- Help to define the long term vision of the products designed and associated roadmap

**Qualifications**

Mandatory:

- Bachelor’s degree in design-related field (e.g. Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Design, Cognitive Psychology, etc)
- 6+ years’ experience in SaaS user-centered product design
- Visual design competency with system design and data visualizations
- Experience with range of UX design, implementation, accessibility, and analytic tools including prototyping (e.g. Figma)
- Expertise in user interface design principles, interaction design guidelines, and user-centered design processes
- Expertise in usability methodologies, human factors, industry standards and trends, platform standards, and software development processes
- Experience partnering with front-end developers
- Possess excellent organizational, prioritization skills and project management experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Willingness to teach design and share design trends

Assets (Nice to Have):

- Design Thinking training or certification
- GRC marketplace experience
- Full product lifecycle experience (i.e., launching new and improving existing products)
- AHA experience
