Finance Intern, 12-16 Month Contract

In this role, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Perform financial analysis and make recommendations for business process and/or system optimizations
- Leverage business software, reporting and digital tools to validate financial information/metrics
- Assist with monthly financial closing activities. Ensure completion of numbers and consolidation for reporting purposes from a multi-system environment
- Assist with Accounts Receivable and past due reporting, metrics, and communications
- Support the annual budgeting process and consolidation efforts
- Provide assistance with internal and external audit requests
- Assist with the mapping and creation of documented procedures
- Partner with business leaders and teams to solve business issues

**Minimum requirements**:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in course of completion (or recently completed) in Finance and/or Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent related discipline.

**Useful skills or abilities**:

- Ability to multitask on several concurrent projects
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
- Ability to work with customers and leadership in remote locations
- Communicate effectively to groups in person, over the phone, and video conferencing
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and perseverance
