Are you an olfactory adventurer with a passion for guiding others through the world of captivating scents? Join our team as a Sales Associate and be part of a dynamic luxury retail environment where your passion for customer service and sales will shine. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, guiding clients on their fragrance journey, and exceeding sales goals.
- Responsibilities:_
- Welcome customers to the store and create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Conduct fragrance consultations, understanding customer preferences and recommending suitable scents.
- Educate customers on the different fragrance families, notes, and olfactive stories.(training will be provided)
- Assist with product selection and gift-wrapping.
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
- Stay up-to-date on new fragrance launches and brand information.
- Requirements:_
- Strong passion for fragrance and the art of perfumery
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures and cashiering
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and calculating discounts
- Organizational skills to manage inventory and keep the store tidy

Will be considered an asset if you have:

- Bilingual proficiency in English and French
- Experience in selling cosmetic or personal care products

Pay: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON K1N 9J7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:
