**Job Summary**
- The Melda Murray Student Centre is a one-stop resource centre for engineering students that aims to enhance student experience on Sexton campus. Reporting to the Associate Dean, Undergraduate Studies, the Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the centre, for implementing programming in the space, and for triaging students to proper supports on and off campus to reduce barriers they may be experiencing.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manages all day-to-day operational aspects of the Melda Murray Student Centre.
- Proposes, creates, manages and organizes student programming for the Centre. Identifies existing gaps in services on Sexton campus and develops research-informed programming to address those gaps.
- Manages the budget and plans spending within budgetary constraints.
- Holds office hours to provide students with career development, study skills and non-academic assistance.
- Maintains knowledge of, and working relationships with, University student support services; assesses and refers students to appropriate services.
- Manages the performance of administrative and student staff of the Centre.

**Note**
- The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.

**Required Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree in a related field with at least three years’ experience (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must demonstrate initiative and work well both in a team environment and with a high degree of autonomy.
- Experience in developing, delivering and facilitating programming to post-secondary students.
