**In-Market Representative/Educator (Contract position 15 - 20 hrs/wk)**

WeedPool Cannabis is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Cannabis Brand In-Market Educator. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting pop-up educational sessions at retailers and cannabis events to educate budtenders about our specific product line. You will play a crucial role in building brand awareness, fostering strong relationships with budtenders, and ensuring they have the knowledge and confidence to effectively recommend our products to customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct engaging and informative pop-ups (2 hours each) & educational sessions at cannabis retailers and cannabis events.
- Develop a deep understanding of our client’s product lines, including strains, consumption methods, effects, and unique selling points.
- Provide comprehensive training to budtenders on client products, including their features, and how to effectively communicate these to customers.
- Create and distribute educational materials, such as brochures, leaflets, and product samples, to support budtender training and enhance product knowledge.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with budtenders, staff, and event organizers to ensure ongoing support and collaboration.
- Gather feedback from budtenders and customers to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for product development.
- Assist in coordinating and executing product launch events, promotional campaigns, and other marketing initiatives as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years of experience in the cannabis industry, preferably in a sales or education role.
- Cannasell certificate
- Experience working as a budtender or in a customer-facing role within a dispensary.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations governing the sale and promotion of cannabis products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse teams.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to travel frequently and work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Passion for cannabis education and advocacy, with a commitment to promoting responsible consumption practices.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Cannabis Sales/Education: 1 year (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
