**Duties and responsibilities**
- Have a positive attitude for all aspects of equipment repairs and maintenance
- Having pride and confidence in workmanship and ensuring that equipment is 100% work ready
- Working on wide range of pipeline & construction equipment from small to large
- Willing to learn new products/equipment with enthusiasm
- Ability to document all aspects of day to day work i.e., work orders, parts requests, field service reports, etc.
- Being a team player, helping other departments as needed
- Self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Travel to customers sites to provide troubleshooting and equipment repairs as needed
- Mentoring apprentices
- Enjoy having different challenges and tasks everyday
- Go out on service calls to support equipment
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- 4th year Apprentice/Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician with experience with pipeline and construction equipment **is a must**:

- Experience with pipeline testing equipment is an asset
- CAT & John Deer experience is preferred
- Excavator, Dozer and Side-Boom knowledge is preferred
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Ability to work well with other staff and customers
- Active and motivated to work safely
- Pride in keeping a clean and orderly work zone

**Working conditions**
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Travel may be necessary
- Overtime and weekends may be required
- Working environment is indoors and outdoor in all weather conditions.

**Salary**: $40.00-$47.00 per hour
