**Aetna** is a respected pest control company in an industry that is stable, recession proof and an essential service. As a leader in termite control and pest control services, with over 50 years in the business, we are seeking a structural pest control technician to join our team to assist us in supporting our high valued termite clients with their structural pest control needs.

Driver’s lic required

Secondary school (preferred)

Pest control technician minimum 1 year preferred

**Position description**
- As a structural technician with Aetna, you will mainly be responsible for special services for our residential clients
- Inspection of properties and identification of pest issues
- Provide pest control solutions using an integrated pest management approach
- All pesticides solutions are required to applied in accordance to label requirements and Ministry of Environment guidelines and regulations

**Position Requirements**
- A valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- A “can do” attitude
- Previous pest control experience is an asset but not necessary
- Must be able to perform the physical duties required for the position (kneeling, crouching and occasionally working in tight spaces)

**Ongoing Training**

Aside from providing continuous on the job training and development, Aetna encourages all team members to pursue additional company-sponsored certifications and licenses. These can include but not limited to: Safety training, termite inspections and extermination and other Ontario Pesticide Training and Certifications. Such certifications will enable you to advance to a higher paying position and take on new challenges.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
