**Responsibilities**:

- Check in patients, run insurance and take payments.
- Assist optometrist with patient care, including pre-testing and preliminary examinations
- Perform visual field tests and other diagnostic procedures as directed by the optometrist
- Educate patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Help patients select eyewear frames and lenses based on their prescription and style preferences
- Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting is preferred
- Familiarity with optical terminology and basic eye anatomy is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
