We are looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to join our pharmacy team. The position is for work at our Pier Pharmasave location.

Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the Registered Pharmacy Technician works as a member of the Pharmacy Team and participates in the provision of safe, competent, patient and family centered ethical care, ensuring the goals and needs of the patient are prioritized and individualized.

Working to their full-scope, the responsibilities will include medication dispensing as well as preparation and packaging, inventory management, compounding of non-sterile products, and narcotic inventory control. Additional activities as assigned may include; taking telephone orders from Physicians, providing technical information for patients on the proper use of drug related devices, and administering drugs by injection for those with an active NSCP injection permit.

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Nova Scotia Pharmacy Technician License (required)
