**Lumber Yard Forklift Operator -Bradford RONA**
**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Loading and unloading of trucks.
- Maintaining house-keeping standards while picking, loading, shipping and receiving product.
- Assisting with inventory.
- Completion of pre-start-up procedures on all power equipment, including propane handling. Safe operation of forklift equipment.
- Complying with all health and safety regulations.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- **One years’ Forklift experience loading lumber and building materials and working outside full-time preferred.**:

- Forklift Certification (provided internally). First Aid certification would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of dimensional SPF (Spruce-Pine-Fir), pine lumber and wood panels.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Satisfactory reading and writing skills, good number skills and attention to detail. Basic computer skills.
- High school graduation or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical activities including: walking, standing, bending and heavy lifting.
