Livestock Pen Rider/ Processor

Seeking motivated individuals to join our pen riding/heard health/processing team at our 25,000 head beef feedlot. Duties may include but are not limited to:
Riding pens daily regardless of weather conditions to monitor animal health

Induction of new cattle

Diagnosing health concerns & treating accordingly

Computer data entry in regards to treatments done on animals

Drug inventory

May operate farm machinery such as a tractor and skid steer

It is preferred if applicants provide their own horse(s) for pen riding but not necessary. The feedlot pays for the hay for feed, a bi-weekly horse allowance is provided in addition to a farrier cost allowance. Prior livestock and herd health experience preferred. Must be fluent in English.

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
