Sonographer (Fertility)

**Role Summary**

Sonographer will be responsible for performing and evaluating the ultrasound examinations for various medical purposes. They will assist doctors in ultrasound-guided procedures and provide accurate diagnoses by reporting and reviewing findings. Sonographer will operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, actively contribute to team building, and demonstrate the ability to work independently.

**Role Responsibilities**
- In your position, you will report to the Lead Sonographer
- Assisting the doctors in ultrasound-guided procedures such as Sonohysterogram, etc.
- Performs and assess ultrasound examinations (Transabdominal and Transvaginal) for infertility patients, 1st trimester pregnancy evaluation, endovaginal scan, follicular monitoring, obstetrical scanning (early pregnancy), pelvic ultrasound for Gyn patients
- Provides optimum patient-centered care and demonstrates a professional manner in the work setting.
- Reports, reviews, and records findings of ultrasound scans to provide accurate patients diagnosis
- Consults with physicians as needed about ultrasounds results
- Operates and provides continuous maintenance of ultrasound equipment via participation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance tests
- Actively participates in team building concepts, and development of departmental goals
- Must be able to work independently without supervision
- Other duties, as assigned

**Required Qualifications**
- Completion of an accredited degree/post diploma Ultrasound program, or recognized equivalent preferred
- CMRITO certified
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience performing and assessing ultrasound examinations, including proficiency in transabdominal and transvaginal scanning, sonohysterograms, endovaginal scans, follicular monitoring, early pregnancy obstetric scanning, and pelvic ultrasounds for gynecological patients..
- Good judgment to ensure work is always performed in the best interest and safety of the patient and the team is a must
- Should have strong technical skills and image quality
- Effective time management skills, ability to organize work, and set priorities
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Excellent problem solving and recognition skills
