About Digital Business Services Operations

Office Location: 582 Chemin de Touraine, Boucherville, J4B 5E4
Training will be full-time in office for 1 week, and then hybrid work style (1 to 2 days in office per month)

Digital Business Services Operations is responsible for:

- Managing the day-to-day transactions of the Wealth and Personal banking business
- Running operations for our Commercial Banking business and supporting our Global Banking and Markets businesses to serve customers across their global networks
- Simplifying the way we run HSBC, introducing automation to reduce workload and costs and improve the experience of customers
- Helping to drive change for the bank’s global businesses and functions, for the benefit of HSBC and our customers

**Responsibilities**:

- Translation of various documents from banking, finance, legal, marketing, Human Resources and IT sector (English to French)
- Proofing and approval of various formatted documents
- Proper terminology researches

Requirements

Training and experience
- University degree in translation
- At least 5 to 10 years of experience translating documents from banking sector or in a related field.
- Experience of work in a company an asset.

Knowledge and skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent capability in research and great concern for details
- Good organizational skills and sense of priorities
- Team spirit and positive attitude
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
- Knowledge of translation-memory tools an asset
- The language requirements for this position include French and English. The latter language is required to translation business documents from English to French as described in this job posting and in compliance with Bill 96.
