We are looking for motivated, reliable and team-oriented individuals to join our growing team as a moving associate. This position is a Monday to Friday position from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Home Deliveries:

- Lift heavy loads and move them safely in and from the delivery truck, to customers, doorways, hallways and stairs; assemble, put in place and remove the packaging
- Communicates with the Supervisor in a timely fashion regarding any customer issues, damages or accidents.

Shipping/Receiving:

- Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks
- Maintain accurate inventory on all incoming stock, including updating shipping logs and all other paperwork
- Sort shipments and distribute product accordingly
- Work within Health and Safety guidelines to keep Shipping/Receiving area clean and organized

Other Related Tasks:

- Effectively and pleasantly communicating with co-workers and Managers
- Committed to excellent customer service
- Undertake physical inventory counts and stock checks
- Order and receive warehouse-related supplies
- Aid the sales staff in putting together and/or moving display units
- Upholding company Policies and Procedures as outlined
- Undertaking other duties as assigned by Manager on Duty
- Access to vehicle and driver’s licence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer literacy
- Strong multi-tasking capabilities
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Willing to work as a team to support the creation of cross-trained empowered co-workers
- Flexibility in work hours --able to work evenings, weekends, opening and closing to meet the needs of the business
- Shipper Receiver Applicants must agree to a criminal record check

**Salary**: $17.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Markham, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)
