Wrecker/ Flatbed Drivers

_**Glen Traffic **_is a seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Drivers, who will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining safe driving habits, and safely transporting construction and heavy vehicles from one location to another on their assigned route.

- **Duties and Responsibilities**:_
The primary responsibility of the operator is to operate the tow trucks safely and perform routine maintenance on equipment, including but not limited to loading/unloading trailers and different types of vehicles, maintaining inventory levels in vehicles, checking fluid levels, and inspecting vehicles daily before/after driving them.
- Drive tow trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load/unload various equipment also secure construction equipment and other items using chaining, strapping, and blocking, following DOT policies
- Ensure that all equipment is clean and in good working order.
- Maintain safe driving habits while operating the vehicle.
- Communicate with dispatch, customers, and service providers in a professional and friendly attitude.
- Remain flexible in daily routine to meet customer demands as directed by management.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of paperwork and logs on a daily basis.
- Complete invoices & daily paperwork as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
- **Qualification**_
- **Must have a valid BC Driver’s License (minimum Class 5)**:
- **Minimum of 1 year of experience (different types of trailers is considered an asset)**:
- Hydraulic certification is a must
- Experience in Flatbed and wrecker tow truck (preferred)
- Understanding of of Ministry and Transportation regulations is a must
- Basic knowledge of the area.
- Basic mechanical knowledge would be an asset.
- Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds and bend, twist, reach, climb stairs, stand for long periods, and walk on uneven terrain.
- Available to work flexible shifts.
- Applicants must be able to accommodate the work site.

- Monday to Friday and Monday to Sunday
- 8 hours and 12 hours shift
- Day shift
- Afternoon Shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
