**Wage**: The starting wage for this position is a competitive rate of at least $36.62 CAD per hour.

**Hours Per Week**: This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week.

**Terms of Employment**: This is a full-time, permanent position.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Financial Analyst at TECHGURUS INC, you will:

- Evaluate and manage financial risks to ensure the company's financial stability.
- Prepare accurate and insightful financial forecasts to guide strategic decision-making.
- Efficiently manage capital and investment activities to maximize returns.
- Develop and execute strategies for short
- and long-term cash flow management.
- Lead the IFRS-9 implementation and GL Substantiation projects for our clients within Canada and Internationally.
- Prepare financial reports, including the preparation of the year-end financial statements and notes, statutory financial statements, and internal monthly management reports.
- Analyze monthly results and balance sheet including commentary on variances (actual vs. prior periods, forecast).
- Assist in troubleshooting accounting issues, including offering recommendations for solutions.
- Participate in the design and implementation of process improvements.
- Lead tax management efforts, collaborating closely with tax consultants and ensuring timely and accurate tax filings.
- Effectively manage company invoices, transactions, and financial records.
- Provide valuable investment advice to support sound financial choices.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 15 years of experience of working in finance function of large commercial bank with at least 3-4 years of experience in the capacity of Head of Finance of a commercial bank.
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance
- Part qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
- Experience of working in Big Four Audit firm is a must.
- Experience in leading finance related projects and liaising with financial consultants.
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, ideally in a banking sector.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles, investment strategies, and risk assessment.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in financial forecasting techniques.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and experience in managing corporate taxes.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
