We are looking for a Control Panel Technician who will be responsible for reading blueprints and assembling panels, controllers, contactors, relays, and other components into custom designed terminal boxes.

Primary Duties
- Use our ERP system ARGO to its full extent
- Be a champion of the timely delivery of high quality products
- Bring fresh thinking about Quality to our Company
- Adhere to all ISO procedures and work instructions
- Ask good questions and retain what you learn
- Interpret and create technical specifications and regulations as required
- Assist in inspection, testing, adjusting and evaluation of incoming electrical, electro-mechanical and electronic components to ensure conformance with product specifications and tolerances
- Understand standard component functions including but not limited to terminal blocks, ground blocks, fuses, circuit breakers, switches, connectors, relays, PLC's, thermal products, and controllers
- Troubleshoot and isolate faults in the electrical and control systems
- Calibrate electrical wire cutting and labeling machine
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics for electrical control panels
- Install, operate, and maintain electrical and electronics equipment and systems
- Operate necessary hand and power tools required
- Inspect and test electrical panels
- Other duties as assigned
**Required Skills**:
- Post-secondary diploma in Electricity or Automation or other relevant experience
- Minimum 1 year experience wiring control panels or equivalent
- Good use of hand tools
- Strong technical ability
- Skills in measuring, crimping and wiring
- Able to read and interpret schematics
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
Conditions of Employment
- Ability to provide proof of post secondary education or equivalent work experience
- Ability to provide proof of a clean criminal record check
- Provide proof of ability to work in Canada
