**JOB SUMMARY**:
The **Warehouse Person** selects, organizes, and processes material in the warehouse in accordance with company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards.

**JOB TASKS**:

- Loads and unloads trucks, using a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand
- Moves material between departments
- Maintains stock areas
- Checks packing slips and labels for accuracy
- Retrieves and prepares material according to Shipping Release and job envelope information
- Receives and maintains bills of lading and packing slips for use in reports
- Coordinates arrangements with trucking companies for special pick-ups or deliveries
- Performs minor preventive maintenance on forklifts and pallet jacks

**COMPETENCIES**:

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software programs
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy; detail-oriented
- Strong time-management skills; ability to work well with deadlines
- Good reading and comprehension skills
- Good mathematical skills
- Ability and willingness to work scheduled rotating shifts
- Ability to lift items weighing 40 lbs and perform duties involving stretching motions, stair climbing, ladder climbing, and standing

**REQUIRMENTS**:

- Secondary school (High School) diploma, or equivalent
- Forklift license
- Certified for Transportation of Dangerous Goods

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
