**The Opportunity (Role Summary)**

**Summary**

We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst co-op/intern who will assist in supporting the product team, as needed, with their day-to-day responsibilities. You must be an actively enrolled post-secondary student completing co-op hours to be eligible for this role.

**What you will do **(Responsibilities**)**

**The base responsibility**
- Gather requirements, analyze specifications and business processes.
- Participate in design phase of the project.
- Develop and execute test plans for quality assurance and system testing.
- Assist with user acceptance testing and project implementation.
- Ensure production issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
- Assist in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
- Consistently deliver high-quality results.
- Understand principles of the matrix organizational model and operate within that framework.
- Estimate costs and benefits of multiple actions and/or solutions and provide recommendations
- Help launch new initiatives
- Other duties, as assigned

**What **You’ll** need (Required Qualifications**)** Required Qualifications**

**Formal Education or Equivalent**
- Pursuing a Diploma and/or bachelor's degree in business or equivalent
- Minimum 3.0 GPA

**Experience**
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies, infrastructure management and notifications
- Basic knowledge of development practices, Agile ceremonies and use cases
- Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Testing practices and JIRA
- Good communication skills
- Experience in business analysis, documentation, process flows, visualization
