Work with an inspiring team at a family owned and operated business that is currently the most popular activity in Ottawa and expanding in Mental Health offerings. Our activity complex features the classic smash room concept that we have taken and developed into something that has taken on a life of it's own, glow in the dark axe throwing, car smashing and more. Our goal through this new integration is to find some individuals who understand the developing idea of what mental health is and how people get their release.

The best applicants will be certified psychotherapists looking to work in a welcoming environment focused on helping people release in different ways. Talking to someone is a fantastic way to work on yourself, not everyone can release with just that outlet though. Our philosophy combines one of our releasing activities with the counseling aspect of therapy to help people get the true and successful release they are looking for. Modern Mental Health Services has teamed up with the Wreck Room to make all this happen where the client would do 15 minutes of counseling followed by 20-25 minutes of an activity (smash room, car smashing or gun range) and then finishing with another 10 minutes of counseling.

You would not be required to host the client for the activity, however, should you wish to host full sessions and be trained in our activities we would be open to that and you would make more per hour to do so. Otherwise we would have a teammate at the Wreck Room host the activity part in tandem with the counseling. Our counseling room at the Wreck Room is brand new, inviting and set up like traditional rooms for this purpose would be. We are willing to add or make changes to the room based on our new hire's recommendations as well should there be any.
