Alteo is looking for an IT Manager for a permanent position based in Northern Quebec.

** Hybrid: 50% **

Your main role will be to ensure the planning, organization, direction and control of IT services.

**Responsibilities**:
> Planning:

- Determines the human, material and financial resource needs of the IT department;
- Draw up annual budgets for the IT department;
- Develops annual action plans aimed at achieving the organization's strategic orientations and objectives;
- Develops, updates and enforces management information systems policies and procedures;
- Plans strategies defining the organization's technological orientations;
- Develops strategies for data and technology security.
- Organization:

- Makes various recommendations to the Board of Directors;
- Develops and updates management information systems;
- Develops and implements internal control mechanisms;
- Develops and implements computer and network management systems;
- Acts as high-level liaison with other partner departments and public agencies, notably TBS, MERN and MCN, for all matters concerning technology and information security;
- Participates in the development of technological tools.
- Management:

- Prepares quarterly management report;
- Directs the staff of his department;
- Sits on the management committee;
- Acts as organizational head of information security;
- Represents the organization to certain external stakeholders;
- Selects IT consultants, in collaboration with the IT team, and manages the high-level relationship with consultants;
- Selects key IT manufacturers and suppliers, in collaboration with the IT team, and manages high-level relationships;
- Ensures links between the IT department and senior management at strategic and operational levels.
- Control:

- Ensures that budgets are respected and that authorized projects are carried out;
- Ensures compliance with various policies and procedures within the department;
- Manages information security operations;
- Builds and maintains efficient and reliable computer systems;
- Drafts or contributes to the drafting of policies to reinforce data availability, integrity and confidentiality;
- Assists the organization's business units in using technology to achieve their objectives;
- Ensures that authorized projects are carried out within budget.

**Profile**:

- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent
- 8+ years IT experience
- 3+ years experience in a management role
- Good general IT knowledge: servers, networking, Microsoft environment, SentinelOne, Fortinet, VMware, Commvault, OpenText etc.
- Experience in contract management of cloud environments (asset)
- Project management and PMP leadership (asset)
- Knowledge of data security standards and regulations (asset)
- Knowledge of tools, portals, governance procedures and standards in force in the Quebec public sector (asset)
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
- Builder, capable of establishing a strategic approach and planning its execution
- Collaborative, team-oriented leader
- Good popularizer, able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Excellent French, functional English advanced

Alteo est à la recherche d'un Directeur informatique pour un poste permanent basé dans le Nord du Québec.

** Hybride: 50% **

Votre rôle principal sera d'assurer la planification, l’organisation, la direction et le contrôle des services informatiques.

Responsabilités:
> Planification:

- Détermine les besoins en ressources humaines, matérielles et financières du département informatique;
- Élabore les budgets annuels du département informatique;
- Élabore les plans d’action annuels en visant l’atteinte des orientations et objectifs stratégiques de l'organisation;
- Élabore, met à jour et fait appliquer les politiques et procédures des systèmes d’information de gestion;
- Planifie les stratégies définissant les orientations technologiques de l'organisation;
- Élabore les stratégies concernant la sécurité des données et de la technologie.
- Organisation:

- Effectue diverses recommandations au conseil d’administration;
- Élabore et met à jour des systèmes d’information de gestion;
- Élabore et met en place des mécanismes de contrôle interne;
- Élabore et met en place des systèmes de gestion informatique et réseautique;
- Assure le lien à haut niveau avec les autres ministères et organismes publics partenaires, notamment le SCT, le MERN et le MCN, pour toutes les questions concernant les technologies et la sécurité informationnelle;
- Participe à l’élaboration des outils technologiques.
- Direction:

- Prépare le rapport trimestriel de gestion;
- Dirige le personnel de sa direction;
- Siège sur le comité de direction;
- Agit à titre de responsable organisationnel de la sécurité de l’information;
- Représente l'organisation auprès de certains intervenants externes;
