**Wildfire & Integrated Natural Resources Training Program**
**Starts March 6, 2023 in Cranbrook, BC**

Stillwater Consulting is offering a comprehensive, field-based training program to introduce participants to a wide variety of possible career paths in natural resources, from Wildland Firefighting to Environmental Monitoring. Covering 17 valuable industry certifications in just 20 weeks, participants will gain skills, support and hands-on experience to launch a fulfilling career in BC’s natural resource industry. This program includes 17 weeks of classroom and field-based training followed by a three-week work placement with a local employer.

**Certifications Covered**
- Occupational First Aid - Level 3
- Environmental Monitoring Certificate
- Silviculture Survey Training
- Wildlife Danger Tree Assessor - Forest Harvesting and Silviculture
- Basic Chainsaw Operator
- Basic Brush Saw Operator
- Wildland Firefighting (S100, S185, ICS100, S212, S230, S232, S235 )
- Pesticide Applicator - Agriculture General Certification
- Canadian Safety Council ATV and UTV Off-Road Vehicle Operation
- BC Hydro Tree Worker (Green Card)
- Bear Aware

**Eligibility Requirements**
- Currently unemployed or underemployed employed
- Must live in or surrounding Kamloops, Nanaimo, Prince George, Cranbrook, or Langley.
- Must meet basic EI Eligibility requirements

**Job Types**: Full-time, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 20 weeks
