Rehabilitation Worker

Raincoast is seeking a competent and motivated rehabilitation assistant to join our health team.

- Build positive rapport with clients
- Coordinate compatible session schedules with clients
- Follow the care plan and maintain contact notes of each session
- Regularly liaise with the supervising OT
- Collect and record all necessary information to enable adequate supervision and accountability
- Provide input regarding all aspects of services provided to clients
- Additional duties and responsibilities as added/deleted at our discretion.
This role requires a high level of independence and autonomy. Our rehabilitation workers are the backbone of our team so attention to the highest standards of quality are supported. We provide a flexible work environment with full technological and administrative support.
**Qualifications**:
- Relevant diploma or certification
- BC driver’s license
- First Aid and CPR certifications
- Valid Criminal Record Check
- Exceptional interpersonal and clinical skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
- Ability to effectively present information and negotiate with all levels of management
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $26.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
