**_Responsibilities_**
- Carrier Relations:_
- _ Grow & develop strong carrier relationships._
- _ Monitor and provide feedback on carrier overall performance to the Carrier Logistic Planner_
- _ Proactive communication with carriers to ensure shipments are being executed as scheduled_
- _ Trace status of shipments and provide information back to Shipper Logistics Planner as needed_
- _ Handle initial information on loss/damage and shortage claims on shipments._
- _ All orders accounted for in real time_
- _ In-transit issues communicated in real time_
- Customer Relations / Reporting:_
- _ Complete TMS shipment updates_
- _ Conduct EDI audits_
- _ Update / Reconcile yard checks_
- _ Book Lumpers_
- _ Track, report and bill accessorial charges_
- Corporate Responsibilities:_
- _ Perform all of the above responsibilities in alignment with our corporate strategic objectives._
- _ Perform all of the above responsibilities in alignment with our corporate values of LEAD WITH GRACE_
- Measurement Responsibilities:_
- _ Ensure data integrity is high when managing and completing orders_
- _ Verify carrier data is accurate before completing orders_
- Other Responsibilities:_
- _ Support and replace other team members as needed_

**_ Skills and Abilities_**
- _ Must be eager, up for new challenges, and not willing to settle_
- _ Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanour_
- _ Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills_
- _ Self-starter with good judgment, well organized, professional and detail oriented individual_
- _ Ability to multi-task and manage priorities, meet deadlines, work under pressure and take on additional tasks_
- _ A good knowledge of North American geography is an asset_
- _ Post-secondary education is required_
- _ Working knowledge of AS400 is preferred_
- _ Able to work in a fast pace environment_
- _ Able to work in a team atmosphere with mínimal supervision_

**Work Shift: Monday - Friday OR Tuesday - Saturday (8am to 5pm)**

**Work Environment**:

- Ability to work well under pressure and provide follow-up with strong attention to details.
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere with mínimal supervision
