**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming as necessary.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired finish according to job specifications.
- Ensure uniform coverage and thickness of paint or coating.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate paint consistency and viscosity.
- Perform touch-ups and repair defects in painted surfaces.
- Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Document work completed and materials used accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and quality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- Prior experience as a painter in a manufacturing or similar environment preferred.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to interpret job specifications and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift.
- Availability for overtime and occasional weekend work as needed.
